Oo-oo-oo Can't wait. I've been warned to watch the telly schedules because the games thingy that's going on in London might cause problems. So shouldn't be wishing my life away but what else is there to look forward to? Oh, a month in the sun in December, can't wait for that either. It will be good to see the sun for a whole month!

just put this query in the good morning thread as well

do we have more definite confirmation from anywhere that the first episode airs on BBC 1 a week on Sat (1st Sept)

I'm going by the Radio Times "next week" section saying that "Doctor Who is back"

All of BBC-America's promotional spots for Who series 7 continue to end with "Returning This Fall". If Saturday, Sept. 1st is the date when Series 7 is going to premiere, given that its now less than two weeks away, you'd think they'd want to start really making a message out of that date.

I haven't seen any promos yet, but then again, I switched my TV off when the Olympics started and haven't switched it back on again since. But I have been assured it is 1st Sept.

By the way, the title of Episode 5 (The Pond's departure story) has been confirmed as "The Angels Take Manhattan."

I've been keeping an eye on the BBC's YouTube Channel. There are supposed to be five mini-adventures forthcoming under the collective title "Pond Life," demonstrating the chaos Amy & Rory have to cope with having the Doctor periodically show up and disrupt their domestic bliss. So far, the episodes have not been posted. I think the idea is that these will be preludes to the week's Saturday adventure, so the first one should get posted in the coming week sometime.

"The first part of the new mini-adventure, Pond Life, premieres on this site on Bank Holiday Monday at noon."

Stephen Thompson has written a script involving the Eye of Harmony. It concerns a zombie-like creature living in the bowels of the Tardis - apparently we also get to see the Library and the swimming pool.
