Re: The All-New Spoiler Thread
The Omega thing was part of The Whistleblower's short-lived blog. I was told at the time it's bollocks.
The only two names I've heard are Ben Daniels & Stephen Mangan. So it's probably wise to discount both. However, I have no doubt that 12 was cast a while ago.
The possibility of a McGann webisode reared its head a while back, but that's gone quiet. More likely is either a prequel or pre-Anniversary episode credits featuring Daleks/Time War/8.5
Panini have indeed lost their license, the decision was made in April. Their unwillingness to embrace a digital version as well as hard copy apparently was a key factor. The new publisher will be Future Publications. Or someone else - bugger: can't remember.

Re: The All-New Spoiler Thread
Back in the 1980's, when I was a student at what is now Coventry University, it was still the Lanchester Polytechnic. So A Freudian Slip on my part. Although by Planet of Spiders, Jon Pertwee's hair was almost as bouffant as Elsa Lanchester's hair in The Bride of Frankenstein.Dave Webb wrote:The Browncoat Cat wrote:So, to Doctor#12. I would like to see Marshall Lanchester, who played the nice but dim DC Chris Skelton in Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes, take over the role.
Lanchester?
Marshall Lancaster was Chris Skelton in Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes, and played Buzzer in The Rebel Flesh and The Almost People.
Re: The All-New Spoiler Thread
I seem to remember hearing Rory Kinnear's name mentioned a couple of months ago, but that might just be guesswork rather than a real rumour. I had forgotten in the last four year how amusing the period of next Doctor speculation was, though.
