Re: Missing Episodes
Dead as the grave I'm afraid. I contacted the BBC a while ago enquiring as to when the BBC Store would be up and running. Seems to me that they may wish to launch that by using missing episodes.
The reply came back that there was no such thing as the BBC Store. Useless morons..........

Re: Missing Episodes
Yup, it's coming. Their version of itunes. The commercial possibilities are endless.
Right, I ain't said this but, the theory goes that the ongoing delays are because BBCW are trying to completely buy out Morris and TIEA. They want everything lock, stock and barrel.

Re: Missing Episodes
But they have a store. Well, BBC-America has a "store." Indeed, I just got the latest magazine in the mail yesterday.

Re: Missing Episodes
I've finally had a reply from BBCW:
"BBC Store is currently in development stage with a plan to launch in 2015. We will share further details as soon as we can."

Yes. I woke up at 3:00 AM and couldn't get back to sleep, so I decided to visit OW.

What a life you lead!
I woke up at 4am this morning, and took an hour to get back to sleep. I didn't go near my laptop.

Re: Missing Episodes
The current situation seems to be as follows:
Originally 3 stories should have been released. Enemy, Web and Marco Polo. For whatever reason, Morris didn't hand Marco over. The reason for these 3 is that he brought them back separately from the container - HE HAS NEVER BEEN THROUGH THE CONTAINER.
The stories that are (allegedly) 100% in there are Power and Evil (there may also be a copy coming back from Australia). There is also expected to be Dad's Army etc. The reason Web 3 wasn't released is because it is believed to be in the container.

The wait continues. I really hope Morris gets his act together soon.

Re: Missing Episodes
This is all most peculiar. Presumably Morris (allegedly) knows what went into the container or how can other people 'know' that Power, Evil, Dad's Army and Web 3 are (allegedly) in the container. Unless other people (allegedly) know more than Morris himself...
And why is the container not being opened? Perhaps it is sealed with a big sticker saying To be opened on the 100th anniversary.
It's all rather amusing and I definitely look forward to the big book detailing the whole story!

Re: Missing Episodes
The word is that the BBC are refusing to entertain Morris's demands any more, and have stopped all negotiations with him.
So in response Morris has decided to blab online, in an attempt to undermining Moffat, a man he loathes and would not have any dealings with during negotiations. Hence the Antony Horowitz rumour.

Re: Missing Episodes
He's now retweeting anyone who says there should be more female writers on Doctor Who.
There should.
If you're aware of what Morris is up to, it's a blatant and rather mean spirited attempt to hijack a genuine issue for personal ends.
It's also quite telling that Ian Levine, who has been hospitalised following a stroke, is rallying counter-tweets to undermine Morris. I'm watching from the sidelines with popcorn. Morris doesn't understand that he's making himself look like an ass, Levine look like a hero and Who Fans in general look like the same bunch of fractious, argumentative near-obsessives that...err....we've always been.
