Have I Got News For You
Hosts for the next three weeks, according to the BBC Press Office:
21st November: Jack Dee
28th November: Al Murray
5th December: David Mitchell
(The hosts for the 12th and 19th December haven't been announced yet)
It'll be interesting to see Mitchell hosting - he's a great panellist on comedy shows, and I wonder how much of his style he'll be able to bring to the host's chair.
I was just checking to see if Mitchell had hosted before, and realised it's now been six years since Deayton left, and this is the thirteenth series with guest hosts. They have settled into a routine now, though - a pool of regular hosts (Alexander Armstrong, Jeremy Clarkson, Kirsty Young, Jack Dee), a pool of other comics and presenters and one or two bizarre (Brian Blessed!, Nicholas Parsons, Tom Baker) presenters each series.

It's a format which has worked for them and brought a lot of variety to it.

Springer's a sharp and surprisingly witty man - it could be very interesting indeed.Nick Barlow wrote:Host for the 12th December: Jerry Springer
