Television News
And, if I may paraphrase Sid:
Sid Seadevil wrote: In an effort to keep the old place somewhat tidy, I've decided we needed a thread where the odd interesting titbits of television news can be shared and discussed without having to create individual threads. I've done the same in the Movies section.
So, let's be having your items of interest!

A stunningly close resemblance to an Eocene Glove Puppet.
Or is it an oven glove?

Re: Television News
I'd welcome a new anthology series, it seems like it's been a while since we've had one.Sid Seadevil wrote:Now this holds the potential to be very, very good indeed. Nice find, Zoltar.

Re: Television News
There's always room for a good anthology series. Hopefully it will be quite hard-hitting too given its French origins.

Oh, that could be real fun. Fingers crossed - casting will be very, very important to making this work.

Re: Television News
Anyone else think that the re-imaging of Charlie's Angels for TV is a reboot too far?
Re: Television News
Me. There's nothing nothing new that can be brought to the table with this reboot. In fact that new version of Dallas that's in production makes more sense than this. The Browncoat Cat wrote:Anyone else think that the re-imaging of Charlie's Angels for TV is a reboot too far?

Re: Television News
The new version of Hawaii 5-0 is apparently quite good, but the original ran for 12 years, and only had to stop because Jack Lord was visibly falling apart at the seems. Charlie's Angels on the other hand is just pointless.
Re: Television News
The new version of Five-O is superb. It's an exemplary lesson in how to update a classic series for a modern audience without betraying or downplaying what made the original work in the first place. I absolutely recommend it to you.

Re: Television News
Can't say I'm interested in the new Angels either. The new Bosley seems a bit young to me, and he's apparently a hacker now.Sid Seadevil wrote:Me. Re: Television News
This does sound interesting. But they'll need to be damned careful how they handle this - especially if they want to avoid catching the interest of Neil Gaiman's lawyers.
