Re: current tv heaven
Yep, I think it is. As cut-throat as the bean-counters have gotten, there's been too much hype building towards the finale of the story for them not to do the final season.sheringham wrote:US TV. I'm glad Losty has a set end date, it should mean it's safe for the last year.

That's the book I've read, Barno - it's as intense as reading American Psycho.

Current TV joy: Better Off Ted.
Why? Cheerful satire of corporate America, and that's a thing of joy. It's must-watch.

I can't believe you weren't aware that tonight was the screening of the pilot episode of "Lady Christina And The Flying Bus."

Nah. Wasps are a terrible passion-killer, and in Torchwood we prefer triangles to pears.

Re: current tv heaven
I've just finished watching tonight's CSI episode. It's a very clever deconstruction on Star Trek mythology, focused on a Sci-Fi Convention called "WhatIf-Icon". From the pre-credit sequence that ended with the line "he's dead, Jim", to the reconstructions of scenes from the classic series, this episode frequently had me laughing out loud.
And then I thought about the alternative... what if a Doctor Who version of this murder story based on obsessed fans irked over mythology of the series being 'taken over' happened. Hmm.
Well, I'll ponder that further when CSI: Cardiff becomes a show. In the meantime, I highly recommend tonight's episode of CSI. You should see if you can find it on Hulu or at CBS.com- it's well worth the viewing.

Re: current tv heaven
Rather than CSI, you could probably do a fun New Tricks episode that centred around missing episodes of an old Sci-Fi series...Professor X, maybe?

Never seen New Tricks, but CBS.com has uploaded last night's CSI episode. It's called "A Space Oddity."

You know what Hulu is, C=O.
It's a type of dancing done in a grass skirt.
or it's this lot: Hulu, where I does most, if not all, of me TV watching.
