Re: Comments on "Orchids in June"
spara, regrettably owing to my son being in hospital the dramatisation has been put on hold until after Chrsitmas.
We're all disappointed, but I hope you understand. If you want to PM me an email address, I can send you the 15 page script, complete with sound effects, cast list etc.
Ultimately this will take place, and rest assured it will be done properly.

I believe Mr. Webb is starting post-production. In the meantime, here is raw video evidence.....
Act One Scene Eight.
Act Two Scene Six.

Brilliant!
It's finally happening!
Re: Comments on "Orchids in June"
"Orchids in June" is officially in Post.
I've got a copy of CoolEditPro 2.1, which should do the job nicely, and is also a multitrack facility. This means I can do what Mark Ayers does for the audio reconsruction work he's famous for: I can lift the best bits from various sources and hopefully create one halfway decent whole. It needs to be said, though, that I am no Mark Ayers. I'll give it my best, because the work demands no less.

Dedication beyond the call of duty. Thanks in advance Dave. At this stage, do you think it will work best as a podcast?

Interesting. I'll have to watch these tomorrow as my dial up connection doesn't play youtube well.
I'm thinking of writing a new play sometime soon.

I must say I do like the redesign job on this site. It seems to have cured the slowness.

I reckon Aliens in the Orchid House is crying out for a dramatisation.

Preliminary work is under way.
However it's not a task to be undertaken lightly, and must be given the time that a work of such gravitas deserves.

Hi all
Have just watched the footage, and am looking forward to stealing Dave's recordings for a sneak preview! We were, I think I can safely say, officially brilliant.

I watched the footage earlier today. I must say that you all looked like you were enjoying the production. Those meet ups of yours look like fun, especially if the work is followed by a civilised booze up.
