Re: Rate "The Big Bang"
Fan-generated explanation: deadlock seals can only work in one direction, and you can't have more than one deadlock seal on an object. It's all to do with not disrupting the insterstitial hyper-neutron flow... or something.
So, the Pandorica had one deadlock seal on it, and because it was a prison it was a deadlock seal designed to prevent someone breaking it from the inside. (Sort of like a lobster pot or a humane mouse trap.)
However, it could be broken from the outside, and all the other security features could be overriden by the sonic screwdriver. (We saw the Tardis giving birth to a new sonic, so the sonic is obviously incredibly powerful Time Lord technology that no other race has access to.)

I really liked that.
Even Amy wasn't too annoying.

I guess it depends on what the knock on is viz a viz The Doctor. Reveal one, you reveal the other. Have to say I quite like the way she breezes in and out of his life at the moment.

Me too, I rather like seeing the Doctor a bit discombobulated I'm afraid that whatever she is isn't going to be as exciting and interesting as what she might be.The Co=Ordinator wrote:I guess it depends on what the knock on is viz a viz The Doctor. ISWYM.
I'm torn.... I'm so curious that I want to know everything about her! but then it might make her boring.... I mean, what if she turns out to be a dental nurse from Basingstoke?

It wouldn't bother me if he never got all the answers, but some would be OK with me.lucy_who wrote:Am I the only fan in fandom who wants River Song to remain a mystery?

Could simply be her real name. Maybe her parents were Space Hippies.Lucy McGough wrote:Like, why is she called River Song?

Re: Rate "The Big Bang"
No wonder she shows no mercy to Daleks. Clearly she suffered years of bullying at the Space Academy (where Space People go).

Probably just a typo. You know, switched the "o" and "n".
