What did you think of "A Christmas Carol"?
Re: Rate "A Christmas Carol"
Then I suggest you try adopting my writing style. That always generates a few complaints...mostly from Patrick.stanmore wrote:I've always wanted to write something that generates a few complaints...
But you're right - it is easy to sometimes forget that people aren't telepathic. Especially when you're contributing to thread filled with lively debate.

Re: Rate "A Christmas Carol"
I always look at the polls to gauge the true opinions of the forum. Humans complain - it's part of how we evolved to be better than penguins.
I actually think this place's general politeness can make the forum appear a bit more negative than it is. The posts tend to be "it didn't do much for me" rather than "this new episode is wrong because [insert reason why the episode is different to the Doctor Who of poster's youth]", though kudos to Spara for trying to redress the balance. The "it didn't do much for me" posts can't really inspire the impassioned positivity that you might see in a rant the episode thread on GB...
