We're not getting new episodes right now either. Shame too, as I was looking forward to the next Bat-mite episode.Sid Seadevil wrote:I'm just frustrated by how much they play around with its scheduling. It never seems to be in a regular slot. It's been ages since I saw a new episode.
I'm looking forward to a Bat-mite episode, surely evidence of this show's brilliance.

Frustrating isn't it. The last episode we saw was the Prototype robot one. And yes, the very fact that any of us could be looking forward to a new Bat-Mite eppy clearly illustrates just how wonderful this show is.Zoltar wrote:We're not getting new episodes right now either. It was great to see Sgt. Rock turn up in that.
For certain.Sid Seadevil wrote:And yes, the very fact that any of us could be looking forward to a new Bat-Mite eppy clearly illustrates just how wonderful this show is.

Absolutely. Even more so for the nod to G.I. Robot too. I love the way this show isn't afraid to tip its hat to some of the lesser known lights of the DCU.Zoltar wrote:[/It was great to see Sgt. Rock turn up in that.

Like B'wana Beast, not exactly what fandom would consider an A-list (or D even) character but he worked very well on this show.Sid Seadevil wrote:Absolutely. Even more so for the nod to G.I. YES! I finally got to see the Darkseid Descending episode. Utterly excellent. the BWHAHAHA! incarnation of the Justice League, Aquaman being tons more awesome than he's been in the comics for decades - and best of all...Darkseid.
And Darkseid being played absolutely straight and with total respect for just how major league a threat he is.
I absolutely love this show!

I'm glad you finally got to see it. I'm pretty sure that was the last new episode they played in the US.Sid Seadevil wrote:YES! I finally got to see the Darkseid Descending episode. Thanks, old man. I must admit I can't understand just how erratically scheduled this show is. Never mind the Simpsons, BB&B should always have been in an adult timeslot on a non-kids network as far as I'm concerned.

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold
It's timeslot has been borrowed by Young Justice over here. Given that that's a new show and being given a push, it makes me think it'll be a while before another Batman will appear.Sid Seadevil wrote:Thanks, old man. Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold
That's too bad. I got lucky and managed to snag myself another episode earlier today. The Malicious Mr Mind. Haven't watched it yet because Elliott is coming over to stay tonight, so I'm saving it for when he arrives.
But since it has the aforementioned Mister Mind in it, I'm guessing it's a Captain Marvel/Marvel Family team-up.

You guys got it first in the UK it seems. Looks like "Bat-Mite Presents: Batman's Strangest Cases!" may have aired as well. I'm getting the Mr. Mind one now, I'll have to look for the Bat-Mite one as well.Sid Seadevil wrote:Yes it is indeed. I was surprised too.

It was a fun episode. Could it be, just one more episode for this season - the Bat-Mite Presents? Bummer.Sid Seadevil wrote:The Malicious Mr Mind.

It was indeed. And yes, it absolutely is a bummer that we only have one more to go. Although if it's it's as good as a the previous Bat-Mite adventures it should be an hilarious season finale.Zoltar wrote:It was a fun episode. Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold
If the episode orders I've seen are accurate, the Mr. Mind one was the actual finale episode. Personally, I think the Justice League one would've been a more fitting final episode. Perhaps that's why Cartoon Network, over here, treated it like one and is withholding the final two episodes for later.Sid Seadevil wrote:It was indeed. Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold
That would certainly have made more sense. A fun-filled and dramatic Darkside actioner seemed tailor made as a season finale.

Well the Hatchling and I have just finished watching "Bat-Mite Presents: Batman's Strangest Cases!" It was definitely fun - but certainly misplaced as the season finale.

It's worth it for the Bat-Manga segment alone. Let alone Scooby Doo.
