My copy of the book has just arrived! All other considerations have been duly set aside and forgotten about until I have devoured said newly arrived volume's contents.

My copy arrived yesterday. Won't be able to even start on it for a couple of weeks, but very much looking forward to reading it in due course.

I'm on the Victory of the Daleks chapter and can tell those who have just received the book that I find it decidedly good... Frank's views about the new Dalek design seemed spot on to me (I am just home and was reading that section on the bus - no doubt I was the envy of all the other passengers as they spied the book ).

Excellent news! And I hope you ensured the other bus passengers were given ample opportunity to note down the book's title for ordering later...

Oh dear, perhaps not. Next time I will stop reading five minutes before my stop and lay the book face up on top of the shopping bag on my lap and then all will be able to see easily. How about that for a plan?

That should work a treat, andrea. The more potential buyers we can promote the better. Remember, every sale is an additional encouragement towards an author's getting started on their next book.*

I will write a bit - I already have a few words in mind - but think I should read a bit more before doing so. Unfortunately, I should warn you, I am a slow reader...

I bought your book from amazon rather than the publisher in the hope that when someone bought something which I had also bought that thing that appears saying something like 'People who bought this item also bought...' would show your book!

Hmm, that is one horrible sentence but never mind...
